Nana Attobrah Quaicoe
Founder
Nana Attobrah Quaicoe is the Founder of OSG Group. The firm exists because of the experience he gained and the gap he saw, when he looked at Ghana's institutional landscape from the perspective of someone who had spent time inside the country's intelligence service.
He served Ghana at the most senior levels of the National Intelligence Bureau, including as Deputy Director General from 2019 and ultimately as Director General from 2022, reporting directly to the Presidency, until his exit in 2025. What he carried through that tenure was the conviction that an intelligence service exists to serve the state and all of its people and the national interest and to ensure it is constantly renewing itself in keeping with its mandate, its mission, and its enduring relevance to the country it serves. That conviction is now the operating foundation of OSG.
Why he founded OSG.
When he looked at Ghana's corporate and institutional environment after leaving public service, the picture was clear. Banks, mining companies, multinationals, schools, hospitals, regulated industries, and high-net-worth families were making consequential decisions every day about who to trust with money, with sensitive data, with critical access, with the care of children and vulnerable adults and relying on instruments fundamentally below the standard the actual risk environment required.

Police clearance forms. Reference letters. CVs. Photocopies of certificates accepted at face value. He founded OSG to bring the working methodology of professional intelligence practice - source verification, behavioural assessment, integrity testing, financial lifestyle observation, structured analytical judgment into private-sector use, lawfully, consensually, and at the standard the decisions actually require. Not as a private intelligence service. Not as a substitute for the state. As the professional firm that responsible employers, regulated institutions, and serious families can turn to when the cost of the wrong answer is not one they can afford.
His role at OSG.
Beyond founding the OSG, Nana Attobrah Quaicoe serves as a member of the Advisory Board. He does not hold an operational role in the firm. The day-to-day management is led by the Managing Partner and an executive team built specifically for that purpose, freeing him to provide what he is uniquely positioned to provide strategic support through counsel, institutional standards, and the professional discipline that defines how OSG conducts its work.
Education and intellectual foundations.
Beneath the operational career sits a substantive academic profile. Nana Attobrah holds a Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Analysis from the University of Maryland, College Park, in the United States, giving him formal academic training in the discipline itself from one of the American institutions most closely associated with the intelligence community’s professional development pathways. He holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management and Policy from the University of Maryland Global Campus, providing advanced academic training in cybersecurity at the institutional and policy level. And he holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana, grounding his international training in domestic institutional context.
In addition to these formal degrees, his executive professional development includes substantive intelligence and security training in the United States and Israel, drawing on two of the world's most developed professional pathways for senior intelligence leadership.
His sustained intellectual interests are in two related areas: the discipline of producing National Intelligence Estimates - the structured, multi-source analytical form on which national-level decision protection ultimately rests and the design of frameworks for reform in intelligence agencies. He continues to speak and write on the importance of professional, merit-based, depoliticised public service and on the structural conditions under which Ghana's institutions either renew themselves or quietly decay.
